Marco A. Peña was born in Quito, Ecuador.  While studying Law, he decided to come to the USA to study voice. Established in Chicago, he studied vocal technique with Corrado and Adelina Vaselli, Hermanius
Bear, Ronald Combs, Robert Long , and Winifred Brown. He presently receives coaching lessons with Maestro Giulio Favario. Besides his recent association with the Naperville Chorus and the Naperville Chamber Singers, Marco auditioned and sang with the Lyric Opera of Chicago from 1960 to 1966 (this includes twoyears of active military duty in the US Army), under the late Chorus Master Michael Lepore.

Now after a long journey, this record comes to us as another sparkle
of that light alluded to… that light that has lived cloistered in this
artist’s soul since his youth.
